Employee Benefits
Meeting the needs of our employees, to fulfil the needs of our vision
Benefits that make a difference
We ensure that no applicant receives more or less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, nationality, colour, ethnic or national origin, age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
As an accredited Living Wage Employer, we are committed to ensuring our employees are paid the real living wage and we continue to match our salary offer with the cost of living. We aim to create opportunities within our community that remain competitive, enabling us to attract and retain staff to maintain an inclusive working environment.
Health and Wellbeing
Sutton’s Wellbeing Plan is dedicated to supporting our colleague’s mental, physical, and financial wellbeing. It has been created to support our commitment to ensure that LBS staff’s wellbeing is our priority and to help prevent stress, creating a positive working environment in which our staff can thrive and support our residents.
The plan includes contributions from our experts in the field of wellbeing such as Health and Safety, Public Health, Mental health Champions, and our Staff Networks.
Our Employee Assistance Programme provides our staff with confidential benefits designed to help you deal with personal and professional problems that could be affecting your home life or work life, health and general wellbeing. It provides a complete support network that offers expert advice and compassionate guidance 24/7, covering a wide range of issues. It not only provides reactive support when you need it but also provides proactive and preventative support.
Flexible Working - WorkWell
Our WorkWell Programme has proven to be a real driver in empowering staff to deliver high quality services whilst adopting a hybrid working model. We empower teams to work in a way that puts their customers first and allows staff to work flexibly which creates a working environment where staff wellbeing, connectedness and sense of belonging are key priorities.
Our Digital and IT teams are on hand to support colleagues with the tools and equipment to perform their roles with a "Work from Anywhere in UK" approach. Following the introduction of Google Chromebooks and Google Apps, which has acted as a key enabler for collaborative and streamlined working, we support staff with the transition from alternative platforms.
Annual Leave Entitlement
Up to 31 days annual leave, depending on your role and grade, with the option to buy and sell up to a maximum of 5 days of leave per annum.
