Corporate Training
We support our staff in realising the benefits and embracing the opportunities of new ways of working and to comply with statutory requirements. The programme is a blend of virtual courses, workshops, digital learning and resources across the following categories:
- new starters & induction
- mandatory learning - data protection and cyber security, fraud awareness, prevent, health and safety, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
- essential skills - personal, functional skills and networking skills
- health and wellbeing
- leadership & management - Aspiring Managers programme
- digital resources - My Learning, IT Community Exchange (ICE)
Along with the traditional ways of learning such as workshops and courses, we offer a catalogue of ‘on-demand’ digital learning to support you, as well as recommendations of other ways for you to learn and develop; including coaching, mentoring, reverse mentoring, buddying, shadowing and action learning sets. There is also information about supporting your career development through our Apprenticeships and achieving professional qualifications.

Health and Social Care Training
This refers to mandatory, essential and skills training to comply with the requirements of professional bodies codes of standards and best practice across health and social care service providers such as:
- legal requirement and update training
- restorative practice and trauma informed training
- person centred and strength based training
- assessment and report writing skills
- moving and handling people
- medication awareness
- infection control and prevention

Sutton Partnership Training
This refers to mandatory and essential training provided by the SEND partnership and adults and children safeguarding partnership such as:
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) core requirement training and a range of topics to embed learning about special education needs and disabilities
- safeguarding training in line with competency requirements
- training, masterclasses, workshops and learning events to embed statutory partnership guidance, multi-agency local protocols and service procedures.
